For many years, Joyce Lytle has pieced together stories, memories, and artistry one stitch at a time. This October, the McCormick County Historical Commission will honor her work with a special Lifetime Achievement Exhibition at the historic Dorn Mill Complex in McCormick.

About the Exhibit

Quilt maker and artist Joyce Lytle will showcase nearly 20 quilts spanning a wide range of quilting genres and techniques. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter, a lover of fiber arts, or simply curious, this collection is a wonderful chance to see the skill, patience, and creativity behind each piece up close.

Join us each day at 1:00 PM for a special artist interview, where Joyce will share her quilting journey: how she got started, what inspires her, and the stories behind her work. It’s a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist and ask your own questions.
