The MACK Rehabilitation Project: Phase II is now underway!

Thank you for support the MACK Rehabilitation Project!

The historic Hotel Keturah (c. 1910) was designated on the National Register of Historic Sites in 1985.

MACK Rehabilitation Project Update:

The McCormick Arts Council is proud to share the next milestone in the MACK Rehabilitation Project at the historic Hotel Keturah (c.1910).

We have officially entered into an agreement with Solid Structures to advance Phase II construction. This phase will prioritize:

  • Basement storage and restrooms

  • Commercial kitchen installation

  • Front porch and balustrade improvements

This contract totals approximately $650,000, with the majority of funding provided through historic tax credit equity. Work has already started and is scheduled to take place over the next six months.

What’s Next?

  • Elevator & Egress Stair Addition

  • Third-Floor Youth Center & Studio

This project continues to be a testament to the power of preservation. We are deeply grateful to everyone’s patience and support as we achieve this critical investment. Our extended community will have an opportunity to help us meet the final needs of this multi-phase project. Please stay tuned for more great news ahead!
